The oil industry will be the topic on the popular C-SPAN call-in seri迷你倉s, which begins at 6 a.m. each morning on cable 126.Despite having a population of fewer than 8,000, Cushing is considered by some to be the "capitol of American oil kingdom," according to press information. The community contains the country's biggest bank vault of U.S. oil in the country -- there are more than 80 million barrels of oil storage capacity, according to Bloomberg Businessweek.Hundreds of storage tanks cover the area, and, each day, the oil in Cushing is bought and sold on the New York Mercantile Exchange. If approved, the Keystone XL pipeline would run into Cushing.The show's host will be based in Washington, D.C., but most of the guests for the Wednesday show will join from Enbridge Energy Partner's terminal in Cushing.
